1. Courses and Credits Required to Graduate - Wondering what courses you are missing, if any? You now have access to a personalised audit of your progress! On my.hult.edu, click on your name button in the upper right-hand corner. Then scroll down and click 'Degree Audit'. See your Year 1, Year 2 and elective courses there.

If you do not yet have a final grade published for a course you have taken, the text will say ‘Registered’. Don’t worry, a grade is coming.

NB this list is only synced with our Registration Portal once per term, not automatically. So, if you signed up for any Spring Courses after mid-December, you may see ‘Needed’ next to courses you signed up for. Don’t worry, you don’t need to reach out. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see the courses you signed up for.

2. Making Up a Missed Course - Most PT students will need to miss a course here and there – you are busy people! Don’t worry, you have four years to finish your degree, so you do not need to make up a missed course right away. Find a time that is right for you. You can find core course schedules here on myHult. Look under ‘Part Time Programs’ and find your start term.

NB Leadership and Business Challenge courses do not have to be taken in order. You can take Authentic Leadership III before Authentic Leadership II, for example.

3. Registering for Courses - You are in control of and responsible for your progress through your degree.

a. EMBA & GoMBA students: You will sign up for courses for your program directly.

i. Access the Registration Portal via the link on myHult under Academics. Once you've chosen your courses, don't forget to tick the box and press

SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL in order to finish the registration.

ii. If you cannot see your ‘Registration Terms’ (FALL 2024 or SPRING 2025) on the left-hand menu bar, you may have a 'finance hold'. Contact the finance team directly: [email protected]

iii. If you are getting any error message when you try to add a course, please contact our registry team at [email protected] (EMBA) or [email protected] (GoMBA)

b. EMBA students: For Global Online MBA (GoMBA) courses, email our registry team to sign up: [email protected].

4. Cancelling a Course - Access the Registration Portal via the link on myHult under Academics. Once in the Portal, click on the X beside the course you want to drop. You don’t need to let anyone know or ask for permission – it's in your hands.

If you’ve missed the deadline to cancel (X is not clickable) let your registrar know (email addresses under #3 above) and they can normally drop you.

5. Tell me more about the asynchronous (ASY) GoMBA courses

You can take most core courses in either ‘Live Online’ or ‘ASY’ format. The exceptions are Authentic Leadership and Business Challenge courses which must be done in the Live Online format. Sign up for the format which works for you for each course.

While the ‘Live Online’ courses are 3-day intensive weekend courses on Zoom, our ASY (self-paced) courses are 7-week courses in which you move through 6 modules of content on myCourses (Canvas). The content is a mix of recorded videos, readings and other resources, and Coursera work. You do this at your own time—while you may submit work in advance, there is only 1 deadline for all of the assignments at the end of the 7 weeks. There are no team assignments that would require live interaction and no required live sessions - but you will be invited to attend optional live office hours with the professor. There is also a 1-hour ‘kick off’ for students to meet the professor but that is also optional, and we record the session for students who cannot attend live. You also will always have access to the professor and our team should you need support during the course.

6. Viewing course pages on myCourses – A reminder that course pages are only visible two-three weeks before the course begins.

If you want to ensure you have signed up correctly before that time, look at your Degree Audit (See #1 above!) or go to myCourses and click on 'Courses' on the left-hand menu bar then 'All Courses'. Look at the list (there is a 'Published' column).

7. Missing an attendance check! – If you realised you have missed one or two attendance checks during a weekend course, you do not need to let us know and you don’t need to worry. Please just remember next time. Our attendance policy allows for forgetting or having tech issues once or twice. This will not impact your ability to pass the course nor your progress through the course. We do not update attendance retroactively.

8. Contacting a professor - If you have a question for a professor, please note that email addresses are on the front page of the respective course page. Faculty emails all follow the same convention: [email protected]

9. Tuition bill - If you have a question about your tuition bill, please reach out to our Finance team directly: [email protected]

10. Dean's List - You qualify for a place on Hult's Dean's List if you earn a term GPA (not cumulative GPA) of 3.60 or higher during a core term - Fall or Spring. You must earn at least 5 credits in that term to qualify. There is no Dean's List for the Summer Term.

11. Electives - You will register for summer electives early in the Spring Term. PT students must take 8 credits of electives to graduate. You can spread these electives across two summers or take all in one summer or take 3 in one summer and 1 in the other - it is up to you.

12. Missing documents – If Hult is missing admissions documents from you (i.e. undergraduate diploma), this could impact your ability to sign up for courses and graduate. Please be in touch with Sushila Sawmynaden [email protected] for information about these missing documents.

13. Graduation - This takes place in August of your second year. You will begin to receive information about graduation from Hult's Student Services team in the late spring proceeding your summer graduation.

14. Specializations - These are 100% optional. Some elective courses count towards official Hult Specializations like Finance or Operations & Project Management. If you earn a Specialization, its name will be printed on your final official transcript (but not your diploma - transcript only).

To qualify, you need to earn relevant credits in at least 6 credits of elective (Summer Terms) courses - and then fill in an online form during the summer before you graduate.

You can learn more about what courses will qualify for a given Specialization when you sign up on the registration portal for summer courses. The name of the Specialization is listed within the description of the course.
